H2O Car Valeting

Car valeting service H2O operates in prime shopping centres such as Westfield London and the Mailbox Birmingham. They had many customers who enjoyed the benefits of their quality valet services first time and wanted to encourage customers to return again. SendOut created crisp, colourful and highly personalized mail shots to send to customers, featuring their own make of car. This approach encouraged a high response rate.

Challenge

H2O wanted an equally prestigious campaign to incentivise first-time customers to return for a second car wash. Without in-house capacity to produce letters in bulk, H2O turned to Send for help.

Solution

We took a personalised SendOut approach to H2O’s problem, producing laser templates with images of squeaky-clean cars to match their customers’ own make of vehicle. The letters were addressed to customers’ cars, with the tempting offer to make them look as clean as the vehicle in the picture. A time-limited tear off voucher was also included as an added incentive.

Result

The shiny new voucher and car-addressed mailshot tempted hundreds of customers across the country to become H2O regulars, and produced an impressive 15% response rate.
