The Fujifilm brand is well known in both the consumer and corporate markets. They came to us requiring time triggered mail outs, reminding customers to renew camera insurance when it expired. Not only did this mean marrying customer records up with the mailing process, but managing a wide range of letters. The complete service of SendOut gave Fujifilm a slick and reliable process for their mailing fulfilment.

Challenge

Fujifilm sends reminders to all customers to renew or upgrade their insurance when their camera warranties expire. With 15 different letter types to be sent out daily, this low-volume but complex service required a dedicated in-house staff and tied up printing equipment. Fujifilm zoomed in on Send to see if we could make the process faster and cheaper and more effective.

Solution

We developed a snappy Send Out bespoke solution for Fujifilm. Each night, a daily file is automatically transferred to our secure server, and the fifteen different letter templates are automatically and dynamically merged with the data and lasered onto renewal forms in a fast and simple single print run. The completed envelopes are ready for collection by 10am each morning.

Result

A saving of up to 30% on our client’s mailing and postage costs, and valuable reassurance that all mailing fulfilment is carried out daily.
